| i write this entry, not because it's necessarily significant or even interesting, but i write because i do not want to do my homework. i believe this is called procrastination. On procrastination, I have become a better procrastinator (or at worse time management) as my time here at Art Center has passed. In my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd term i was the best time managing student a student can be. I would start on my projects almost the day they were given, and would complete them two days before they were even due, getting nearly 8 hours of sleep everynight. (nerdy huh?) But as i write this entry i started my homework two hours ago for a class i have at tomorrow afternoon and will have to spend the night doing work for this class PLUS im writing this entry. So what the heck happened? First i moved out of my house and no longer had to commute. And begin to realize the more time you have the more time you waste! Second in my beginning terms I always wanted to give myself ample time to finish my work out of fear that things will take much longer than i anticipated. But as you keep doing projects over and over term after term, you figure out how long it takes you to do something, therefore putting it off to the very last minute. Thirdly, I simply enjoy it. I actually would rather have to work for long hours for a few days rather than spread the hours out evenly through the week (which i used to do).
I really can't believe i wrote this entry. Farewell!
